My name is Evan Hoffmeyer and I joined the Society’s staff about six weeks ago now. It’s an honor to work for such a dedicated organization. I’ve spent the past 12 years telling the stories of my community as a local journalist and I’m excited to now tell the stories of SNEB’s members and their work in communities around the world.
I’ve already gotten to work with some of you, especially on the Journal Committee and Advisory Committee on Public Policy. Even if we don’t work together regularly, feel free to drop me a line anytime with what you and your colleagues are doing, whether it’s just a few lines or an in-depth recap.
One thing I’d love to hear about from anyone in the Society: what made you decide to join? Also, what is it about SNEB that’s made you decide to stay? The best way to recruit new members is by telling them the stories of our current members, so I’d love to hear from as many of you as we can.
Whether it’s a testimonial about your time in SNEB overall or talking about something specific that you and your colleagues have done, you can reach me at ehoffmeyer@sneb.org.
Can’t wait to hear from you!
