The SNEB Awards Committee welcomes nominations, including self-nominations, for members who have made significant contributions to Community Nutrition, particularly in BIPOC or low-resource communities. No advanced degree is required, and nominees may work in various settings, such as community organizations, schools, nonprofits, or government.
Awards Open for Nominations Include:

- Must be nominated and sponsored by a current SNEB member.

- Must have at least 10 years of SNEB membership and 20 years of experience in nutrition education.

- Must demonstrate outstanding achievement in nutrition education, including:

- Contributions through teaching, advocacy, program development, or leadership.

- Impact on nutrition education through resources, grants, or program sustainability.

- Must have a strong record of service to SNEB, such as volunteer leadership or other contributions.

- Nominator must provide a letter of support.

- Award may be given posthumously.

- 10-19 years of professional work in nutrition education.

- Current professional SNEB membership for at least 5 years.

- Leadership of large programs or publication of scholarly materials.

- Significant contribution to SNEB, fostering its mission to promote effective nutrition education and communication for healthful behaviors.
