Best wishes 2024 from SNEB Leadership!
For 2023, we re-connected, re-nourished, and re-inspired each other while empowering transformation in the food system. Building on that momentum, SNEB is excited about what is ahead in 2024, which our conference theme emphasizes as “Understanding Foodways”. Let’s explore some of our top plans for this year:
Our 2024 SNEB International Conference in Knoxville, TN relocates to the University of Tennessee campus. This move offers fresh opportunities for technology use, versatile spaces, cost-effective accommodations, diverse conference offerings (including delicious food), and deeper engagement with the local community.
Offering twelve impactful issues of the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior, packed with cutting-edge research on nutrition education worldwide. Expect these issues to include Great Educational Materials and New Resources, enhancing our understanding of foodways.
Dive into thrilling webinars spotlighting cutting-edge topics. The Spring Journal Club initiates this series, delving into field-specific Nutrition Education insights and revealing findings from the FDA Focus Group study.
With twelve dynamic divisions hosting networking events, special projects, and initiatives driven by members’ passion, we aim to celebrate, preserve, and explore the essence of SNEB-its divisions.
Actively staying updated on ongoing policy changes on legislative actions impacting nutrition educators and opportunities to be the voice of nutrition education.
Your input is pivotal as we refine the SNEB Strategy, aiming to elevate our global leadership in advancing food and nutrition education research, practice, and policy. Your contributions will empower SNEB to champion equity and advocate for public and planetary health through innovative approaches in nutrition education.
Step into our expanding global network of partners and collaborators. Engage in resource-sharing, expertise exchange, and foster connections worldwide, amplifying our collective impact and driving positive change.
May 2024 be a year dedicated to UNDERSTANDING FOODWAYS
